Dear Dewey,

Wanted to send you a letter to thank you, our salesman Paul, and the 1st Team Exterior guys, for a job extremely well done!

We have had issues with ice dams the last few years and knew we needed to fix the problem. Paul came out this spring and looked around inside and outside and came to the summation that we had some issues that had to be addressed to eliminate the problem.

He suggested insulation, more vents in the eaves, and inexpensive chutes in attic walls to guide the air from the eaves to the top of the house. We hadn't even thought of this being our problem. Paul and your 1st team guys were here promptly when scheduled and performed the work very fast in a tidy fashion. The next day Paul was back to inspect , and then we were contacted by you to further ensure our satisfaction.

We thought we wouldn't see any results from this until winter. Boy, were we wrong!

Once the heatwave started in May, we could hear all of our neighbors air conditioning units roaring outside our open windows. That's when we realized that our house was a comfortable 74 on a 85 degree day without the AC on. When we finally turned the A/C on for the more humid days, we found that our A/C unit was hardly running at all, all the while keeping the house amazingly comfortable. We knew it had to be due to our new venting and insulation.

After comparing the last few months of energy bills from last year, we were pleasantly surprised that it was significantly less!

In May of 2008 a storm went thru No. St. Paul, and damaged my roof. I call Dewey Berglund. He came to my house and got on my roof and inspected it for damage. Finding damage, I called my insurance company. When the adjuster showed up so did Dewey. He went over the whole job with the adjuster and handled everything. I got a new roof on my house and garage. The job was done very quickly & very professionally. Dewey even went up on my roof to paint my roof caps. They cleaned everything up and picked up everything. It was a great job. Thanks Dewey.
